Kmart 20% off Toys —Brad Linsley
Ad on the tele. Till this Friday. For those with Myer cards, Myer has been sending out $15 Kmart vouchers (buy $100 or more to be valid), so LEGO is cheaper again. Also, regarding the RBR posts, this may have already been mentioned but the RBR was (...) (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: (was: Kmart 20% off Toys) different RBR —Pete White
(...) Wrong RBR, on the other thread, RBR stands for Rebel Blockade Runner, not the Red Beard Runner which had the casually used acronym first. I'm sure the Red Beard Runner was known as something else in Aus catalogues, Dark Shark ? Not as catchy (...) (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: (was: Kmart 20% off Toys) different RBR —Allister McLaren
(...) I've got an old catalogue at home that has the 'Dark Shark' in it. On looking up the set number on LUGNET it turns out this was an alternative name for the Black Seas Barracuda. The Red Beard Runner (6289) was rereleased as the Pirate Battle (...) (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: (was: Kmart 20% off Toys) different RBR —Richie Dulin
(...) No need to wait... 20% off toys at KMart until Friday (no need for a Myer card). Cheers Richie (22 years ago, 14-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: (was: Kmart 20% off Toys) different RBR —Allister McLaren
(...) Thanks Richie, I saw that in the subject header, but the message didn't confirm it, so I wasn't sure. This is the problem with having a 'No Junk Mail' sign on my mail box and not watching television very much. (22 years ago, 14-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: (was: Kmart 20% off Toys) different RBR —Pete White
(...) Glad I put that (?) in there, I wasn't sure something with a red hull would be considered 'Dark', unless it was RBR (Rebel Blockade Runner) Dark Red :^) (...) Pirate Battle Ship...very ho-hum. (22 years ago, 14-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: (was: Kmart 20% off Toys) different RBR —David Dallaston
(...) Up here at least the 6290 was labelled on-shelf as "The Marauder". (22 years ago, 14-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: (was: Kmart 20% off Toys) different RBR —Ross Crawford
(...) Hmmm. Any relation to this (URL) I wonder? (Full story here (URL) in case you missed it) ROSCO (22 years ago, 14-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: (was: Kmart 20% off Toys) different RBR —Richie Dulin
   (...) That's a very flattering photo of the RBR/Pirate Battleship/Marauder. Cheers Richie Dulin (22 years ago, 15-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: (was: Kmart 20% off Toys) different RBR —Pete White
(...) Yes, that shot from the rear is a much better angle of the RBR-PBS-M. They might have moved a bit quicker off the shelves with better box art. (22 years ago, 15-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: (was: Kmart 20% off Toys) different RBR —Richie Dulin
(...) I remain quite pleased they moved no faster than they did ;-). (And still some left to move, too.) Cheers Richie (22 years ago, 15-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.au)
