The long awaited Harry Potter issue!
(Aside: My daughter, Hazel, aged 3.75, can identify *all* the characters,
she even identified Harry Potter leaning out the window of the Hogwarts
Express... good to see the preschool curriculum staying up to date!)
Definitely better than the last issue. No special offers, but we did get a
voucher for a free Jack Stone video hire, a Christmas Card from LEGO and a
sheet of HP stickers (Hazel was happy!).
I was impressed that they'd finally got some good MOC pictures sent in. That
cruise ship is amazing (built by 9 yo Daniela) and it's huge. The colloseum
and the empire state building were also great, and the duplo car wash was
pretty good as well. Good to see something other than factory models being
joined together.
The back page was a bit odd. Good to see instructions for a 1974 set updated
to use current parts (and good to see the old striped logo as well!), but
whoever built the original got the rotors wrong, and I'm sure that
windscreen wasn't the '74 original.
Cheers
Richie Dulin
