It's a hot and sunny day up here in QLD, anyway after reading and getting
all excited about the awesome specials at K-Mart, and many thanks to the
wonderful Kerry, we decided to take a trip to the Gold Coast (I had
previously rang up to place a few sets on lay-by over the phone (and no,
they don't ask for a deposit either!). How cool are the ships? The 6291 is
a great buy at $49.50! Never saw any HP sets down there though :(
Just as well I guess, means a bit more money for some of these specials and
then S@H too :))). The Blue tubs at $39.00 is a great deal too! Must grab
some more of them on lay-by.
I also bought a Bionicle set inwhich you are meant to get a Copper mask??
Well I dunno what I got, but all I do know is they gave me a pack of the
little masks that sell for around $1.75 etc... is this what they meant? Or
was there something I missed out on here? I am sure my son will still love
it none-the-less, but hey! a deal is a deal. Heh!
Well, time to build! :) and thanks again Kerry!

| (...) For those of you after the 6291 at $49.50, we saw about 7 of them (left after our own purchases) at Pacific Fair KMart and about 4 at Robina KMart. We didn't see anyone else purchasing the pirate ships, but we saw a number of the Big Blue (...) (23 years ago, 7-Oct-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
