Our non-lego excitement for the year

Hi all
some of you would have seen the news about the explosion in the shops in
Pascoe Vale South last night (3am to be precise).
For those who know our house, these were the shops up on the corner behind
us. Gone is the Kebab shop, the cute cafe and the 2nd hand appliance store.
Most shops on Bell street lost windows or had damage to glass. Even the
Commonwealth Bank lost most of its windows. Strangely, the Chinese take away
with the really dirty scummy window was untouched. Go figure?! Perhaps there
was a reason why they never cleaned the window. And here was I thinking it
was a plot to keep customers away.
And just for the record - despite damage to residences near to the shops, no
one was injured. And, no, our house wasn't damaged - the lego was spared!
Well that's our excitement for year.
