Re: 25% off all lego at Target this week (at least in Brisbane)

Yup, and I've done a lot of my birthday shopping for kids this year already. The shelf prices are OK, and with 25% off plus the Coles Myer shareholder discount, it was excellent value and I just filled a trolley with Lego. Since there isn't anything (...) (...) You bought them the new Star Wars Technic!!! Kerry!!! Don't make children hate LEGO -- take it back!! Especially when the X-wing is $45, and there are Speed Slammers for ~$30. Even the Pit Droid would be better... I spotted a shelf tag for (...) (24 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) Awwww, why don't these sort of clearances happen in my neighbourhood? Unfortunately I don't think my family would want to move just to support my Lego habit :) Deidre drb@tasmail.com (24 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) The plane? Do you mean the helicopter? It's actually not that bad (has some toolo bricks), I like that one, but the car is quite limited with the chunky chassis, as is the motorcycle. The construction vehicles set has some of the classic Toolo (...) (24 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) As far as I am aware, not as yet :( I am such a sucker for when the new stuff hits the shelves... just to get my greasly mits on it and see what it looks like up close Mwhahaha... but it dies down after awhile :P Mel (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) There is a Target but it's fairly Blurgh (it's found on the Queen St Mall, close to David Jones). At Garden City, they have TRU (which is open on Sundays), K-Mart, David Jones and Big W, no Target though. Indooroopilly has K-mart, Target and (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) enough! Well, I must disagree with Mel on this one. Maybe TRU was open on Sunday in Brisbane at some time, e.g. before Christmas. However, I've visited Mt Gravatt on Sunday a few weeks back and found TRU was definitely closed. So, if Sunday (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: 25% off all lego at Target this week (at least in Brisbane)

(...) I do apologise! It's the Aspley Store that is still open on Sunday (10am - 4pm)! Mt Gravatt (Garden City) stopped their sunday trading just after Xmas. Sorry once again! - rang up and confirmed this for you! :) Mel (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: 25% off all lego at Target this week (at least in Brisbane)

(...) According to the Lego rep, the Aspley TRU has a better range of Lego than Mt Gravatt too. Kerry (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: 25% off all lego at Target this week

I saw the 7166 SW Imperial Shuttle at Burwood Westfield store a few weeks ago. I'm hoping to go this weekend. Anthony (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: 25% off all lego at Target this week

(...) Hey, if they're still there would you mind picking one up for me? It should be about $45. thanks, Dave (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: 25% off all lego at Target this week

(...) Some other specials I got were the 2897 "Fun in the 100 Acre Wood" for $23.96 which is great value and 2981 "Pooh's Corner" for $3.85. But I must say $14.20 for that (2989) is great!!! Mel (...) (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: 25% off all lego at Target this week

Dave, I went to Burwood, Bankstown and Roselands Target and their shelves were pretty bare of star wars lego. Unfortunately I missed out. I guess we will have to wait for the next sale (possibly Grace Bros and their usual 20% off). Sorry. Anthony (...) (24 years ago, 25-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: 25% off all lego at Target this week

(...) No worries -- thanks Anthony. I reckon there should be a Kmart sale in the next month or so too. --Dave (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
