Re: LEGO ONLINE FROM K MART......

(...) wow. Thanks for the pointer Kev! I had to follow the links in from the front page, that link failed for me. It's only the big sets, the "premium" range, and they can only be bought online. This is good, it's usually the big sets that are nigh (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LEGO ONLINE FROM K MART......

(...) The URL works OK for me. It's interesting too, that the range offered here is almost completely different to the range in store. For example, I've never seen Mindstorms in KMart yet they are listed the on-line store. Conversely, the on-line (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LEGO ONLINE FROM K MART......

(...) Idiot, moi! The WWW site actually says this: "Kmart offer a Premium range of Quality LEGO products which can be bought online and delivered to your home. Most of the items in this range are not readily available in Australian retail stores." (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LEGO ONLINE FROM K MART......

(...) It just worked OK for me, second-time around. (...) Not your usual Kmart consumer market too. Why have stock sitting in stores getting vandalised, especially large price items. (...) That's probably the major question. (...) Hmmm...doesn't (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LEGO ONLINE FROM K MART......

(...) The race is on. First in, means people will look there first at shopping time. Here comes the slow Lego online train chugging over that distant hill. I guess the last word we heard was second-half of 2001. (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LEGO ONLINE FROM K MART......

(...) I guess you have to like the smell of glue, which may appeal to some. Set builders would wet their nappies over the Danish masterplans. MOC builders would dream of the things you could build with that many bricks. (...) Or set up a molding (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LEGO ONLINE FROM K MART......

(...) When they had their %15 off sale the other week, the online prices reflected this. If you want to know how nuch shipping is, just click on add to order and it will show you the shipping, which looks like $2.95, even for big items like trains. (...)   Re: LEGO ONLINE FROM K MART......

(...) If you add multiple items, it still shows the freight as $2.95, sounds like a good deal to me! Martin (S) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LEGO ONLINE FROM K MART......

New Zealand's K-Mart is closing down... sounds like Australia isn't the only ones running into financial problems.. I guess NZ won't have a on-line shop dealing with K-Mart... I am a tad bit out of it still... hope I made some sense here... Mel (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LEGO ONLINE FROM K MART......

K-Mart in New Zealand have never really supported the LEGO product. I seldom shop there. The Toyworld stores have the best selection but not always the best prices. Grahame (...) (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.loc.nz)
