Due to a fortuitous conjunction I had my scanner, some photos and some free
time, the product of which is now at
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=3448

Of course there are the obligitory comments for those who can't tell one
stud from another.

Bushranging Bricktorians is a shot from early in the game. Features to note
are the the chip and dip baseplate to the right, the hi-jacked technic
shuttle with "slimboy" tactical nuclear missle, numerous bricktorians
advancing through the mallee scrub, and the shadowy figures of Ben and
Rosco, guiding the nefarious activites of the army.

Harry Potter or Mad Parsons? shows one of Richard's squires (I'm terribly
sorry I don't know his name!) brandishing a shield and dagger constructed by
our resident castlehead, Kevin. Of course any resemblance to the forthcoming
Lego Harry Potter is purely coincidental (and possibly only in the mind of
the author anyway...)

Signalmen on high has Eli? and Ross? standing in Eli's loop of track, also
visible are a destressed Martin and, on the table, the blurry shapes of
James's 12v steam engines

The Beer Round is a break in the brikwars action, after all what's the use
of playing in a licensed venue if one can't quaff ale whilst wargaming.
However the Studs shown are simply snacking, Dave (to the left, creator of
the Gungan Kludge) and Peter (sampling the children's menu) are waiting for
Richard (Background) to finish explaining to Martin the finer points of
megablock naval architecture.

Finally The Pirate's Base is the opposite end of the table to the first
picture. Visible are Captain Ahab's converted YTsomething, The Saucy Sam? An
escort Port Block reffitted x-wing, Ahab's rowobat skiffs, some 'liberated'
Baktoid tanks and a pair of unedited grip'n'go thingys. Also on display are
Thunderbird 1 "borrowed" from International rescue, some Archangel Speeders,
an APC and troops of the Welshishish Tenth. The top left of the picture
shows the secret weapon, beer in real sized glasses.

James (who's happy to remove any faces that are camera shy...)

(...) ... (...) I beleive I was saluting the Bricktorian regiment's parade of honour after the defeat of the Pirates :-) ... (...) That is actually Paul that Richard is talking to. Martin (S) (24 years ago, 24-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)
