Actually, if you compare the scans to the bricks I think you'll find it's
more a matter of slightly incorrect color correction settings.
They look like they should actually be red bricks.

| Hi Pete, Thanks for the comments on my town, yes i like the jewel shop also my daughter thought up the idea so it was fun to build, the purple roof bricks are from unknown origin found them with a large box of lego i brought from markets they are (...) (24 years ago, 18-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
