Still talking about Coles/Myer (I over zealously edited Ross' post): I'm fairly sure that eligibility for the shareholder discount was temporarily suspended for all new investors sometime early last year as it was costing the company too much money! (...) (23 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Speaking as a Coles Myer shareholder, I can confirm that new sharebuyers are not getting the discount card, allegedly while the company decides the long-term future direction of the discount scheme. A discount card can have up to two signatures on (...) (23 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
