No worries, you're right about being able to get sets from the states at a
comparable price much earlier, (although it was Nov/Dec we saw LoM) that's
one of the drawbacks about living in Australia. However, there are points to
remember about shopping in Jan. Most stores are about to do/ just have done
stocktake. They're not ordering in anything much at all, let alone lego.
There have been a round of Stocktake sales, removing stock from
christmas-emptied shelves and finally, Lego Australia is still waiting for
it's first quater shipment from Denmark, before stores get 2001 line stock.
Sure it looks dire at the moment, but give it a six months and we'll be
having 25-50% off half yearlys where they dig out the stockrooms and sell
almost everything one might want (or need).
