I'm afraid I don't know which film (if any) featured the pointy-tipped

Showed up in the final instalment, known as Return Of The Jedi. It was the
Empire's answer to the better armed X-Wing fighter and has a greater
sublight speed than most other fighter craft (possibly excluding the
A-Wing). Still no shields or hyperdrive. Personally, I'd rather that LEGO
produces a TIE Interceptor and Bomber in minifigure scale, as I can't bring
myself to get the Collector 7181 model (tho nice it is!).

| Just a few subjective comments ... (...) I think the 7166 is a rather stylish-looking set. The striking visual effect is created by a high fin combined with drooping wings and nose (probably using our old friend the click-hinge). There is also (...) (24 years ago, 21-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
