where are good places to find lego?

That really depends on what you are after :)

Wonderland of Toys used to be good until they closed down. Toyworld in
Canningvale is ok (he owned a Wonderland so had a "wonderland" philosophy).
Feel free to disagree with me those who are still in Perth - I left in
January so I'm a bit out of touch.

If you're after second hand stuff then I recommend 6 good places
a) Marc at Kiddiwink Toys in Balcatta - has lots of bits and pieces and
sometimes has sets.
b) Murray in Malaga - Can't remember his details but he often advertises
Lego for sale in the newspapers. He has a rather nice collection and sells
bricks by the ice-cream tub and can sometimes be convinced to part with
other bits. He buys collections for personal use and resale and will often
beat you to the best stuff in the paper.
c) Sunday Times readers mart
d) The Quokka
e) Swapmeet - but be prepared to walk away and leave it if it is too
expensive and too grotty. Too many people expect you to pay high prices
that's in poor condition. Also get there early - Lego goes quick

and, When I started collecting seriously in 1991 I had some great purchases
from one of the local papers in the Nedlands area. One particular paper
seemed to have a better classifieds section than anywhere else in Perth.
Likewise for garage sales in the same and surrounding area.

Hi All, I'll add my 2 cents... (...) Toyworlds in Subiaco, Claremont and Canningvale are all pretty well stocked but TRU in Morley and the city are often cheaper.(City store is open Sunday from noon). These are the main stores where I shop for LEGO. (...) (24 years ago, 29-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
