Hehe, I'm afraid their real use is far less technical than that :-) No,
they are used for various single-player "games" and represent a number of
points for navigating around the brick, knocking it over, whatever.

Nuts indeed. You'll just have to wait for the "Joystick Command" expansions
set for Mindstorms.... ;-)
