Try bablefish, but you're not missing much. The last convesation I heard was

IIRC,IANAL(1) English allows a decent bit of brevity compared to other
languages. Larger vocab, flexible (read practically non-exsitant) grammar, no
gender, expanded tense, borrowed words...
