Hi guys (and Rachel (and anyone else who sees this)),
First post to LUGNET (in fact, first post to any newsgroup), although I've been
lurking for a while now. I'm 23, live in Sydney and play with insect DNA to
earn block-money.
Star Wars brought me out of the Dark -- the X-Wing is a fine, fine model.
Pre-DA, my main interest was Castle (fairly good collection 1983-1987), with a
a reasonable smattering from the rest of the range, including maxifigs and
Fabuland. Post-DA, mainly Adventurers, Star Wars and Insectoids (professional
interest). I'm picking up some Ninja now before it disappears.
My major project to date has been an Aztec Temple filled with traps and idols.
It's accompanied by a pirate fort, jungle shrine (found a use for Jar-jar!) and
river barge. Largest contribution was from sets 375 and 5976. When I take some
photos (and make a web page) I'll announce it here, and in .pirates and
.adventurers.
My next creation will need quite a few BURPs and a tub full of monkeys. If
anyone is interested in a trade for some castle gear let me know (did you hear
me say pitchforks?).
