I ventured into Indooroopilly Shoppingtown in search of Lego for a child's

I ended up giving the kid a couple of little sets I had bought for myself as
there was nothing worth buying at Indro.

KMart was particularly bad, a bit of Duplo and a few racers with Megablocks
taking all almost all of the shelf space.

Same in my part of Sydney. If there wasn't a LEGO shortage before, there is now
;^) My local TRU was the barest I have ever seen it.

I noticed that here in the UK after last Christmas. Lego have tried to minimise
oversupply and have been selling better than expected so the stores are probably
undersupplied after Christmas. Bad for sales but good for long term outlook.
