Target: very disappointing selection, seemed to carry only a limited set of themes.

Myer: had sets across a wide range of themes. A good place to pick up the 4886 Building Bonanza (was it exclusive to Myer? I never see it elsewhere).

Toyworld (Queen Street): Very good selection, both in terms of theme coverage and range within themes. The best of the 3.

Working in the CBD and swanning through these each week myself, I agree completely. Target finally got some 7900’s (extremely cool - might need a couple of therse :-) in, but its Toyworld that has the better range. As long as you’re happy with RRP or 5% off, that’s cool. They also had roadplates which I never seem to see in the bigger stores.

I’d add that the DJs at the north end of the mall is not worth looking at (although they did have a few 4886’s for a little while), and sadly, neither is the Big W down that end of town. And while there are two Toyworld’s in the city, its the one on Queen street itself opposite Myers that is a superset of the other.

4886 looks like a really nice piece pack - I just can’t come at $70 for it.
