Having read a lot of the threads complaining about the $50 registration cost for
Brickvention 2006, I thought it was actually very cheap for a two day convention
even if things haven't been finalized yet and I have sent off my registration.
As for transporting my models, I was only going to take a couple and was going
to pack them in plastic containers in a large travel bag. The convention is only
for the weekend, so my clothes can fit in my husband's bag.
We haven't booked accommodation yet, but my husband and daughter plan to do
tourist type activities while I go to Brickvention and we all get to have a
weekend away, but then Melbourne isn't too far from Hobart.
