While he does say “Lego blocks” like it’s a bad thing, at least he doesn’t say “Legos”.

But he does say “isolated elements are regarded as places of state and national interest” so he must appreciate the design of certain specialised elements. Maybe he meant to say “pieces of state and national significance”?

There are many BURPs on the harbour foreshore and I have seen POOPs floating in the harbour, so it may not be either of those types of elements.

You can read the full edited extract (what the?) here (for a limited time, anyway). Some of the TV stations used the video grab of the Lego bit too.

Heh, yeah... My Boss calls it “Legos” too... But I keep reminding him that it’s not pasta sauce (etc) ;) (Leggos)

Only when you microwave red bricks !

Maybe he think it looks like a bunch of building blocks... then wouldn’t that be Megablocks?... but he did say/mention ‘privileged’ - sarcasm? or has he seen things made of LEGO and nothing but Sydney Harbour Icons?

Out here in the poor suburbs it’s all MegaBlok construction.

Maybe we need a giant LEGO antique French clock harbourside ?
