cheapest brown shovels on BrickLink

I’ll take one if they’re less than 50c/piece! And that’s Australian cents, too. ;-)

I recently bought a lot on eBay where the price was nudging 50c/piece, and I’m still getting over the shock! Mind you, they were nice pieces (nicer than brown shovels, in fact), but still... 50c/piece... ouch.

I must apologise! They are under 50c/piece.

Having visited his Bricklink store, Martin’s shovels are very reasonably priced indeed. I suspect that postage will take it over 50c though...

Also, I don’t actually have a need for a brown shovel... but if anyone wants one, go check Martin’s store and buy one. (And next time you see me, ask for 50c Australian for it - and you get to keep the shovel).

Adieu

Actually, The shipping rates stated on my splash page are “worst cases”. The Danish postal service operates not only with weight limits, but also with 3 size limits. There are limits to both length, width and thickness of a letter. Usually when shipping Lego the most important measure is thickness. So, a letter not thicker than 0.5 cm is cheapest, a letter between 0.5 cm and 2 cm is a bit more expensive and letters exceeding 2 cm thickness are the most expensive ones.

When shipping Lego, most of the shipments falls into the last category, but occasionally smaller order, with only smaller parts do fall into the mid-category. The cheapest rates is rarely an option since a padded envelope itself is very close to 0.5 cm in thickness. The rates stated on my splash page are for the maxi-letters, but shipping a brown showel would fall into the mid-category and then the postage is only 6.50 Danish Kroner compared to 19.00 Danish Kroner for the maxi-letters. With todays rates it is something like US$, 0.96 instead of 2.80. In AU$ I beliewe it is about 1.48 compared to 4.33.

But, what the heck, if you email me your adress, I will send you a free sample.
