Having carefully guarded the safety of my only brown LEGO brand common or garden shovel, I had a minor, completely non-swoosh testing related accident, wherein a partially completed house and fairly large backyard was dropped on the Red Baron from a height of 847mm. The only permanent damage was to a technic peg, and to - you guessed it - the brown shovel.

I’m sure there’s a lesson to be learned there somewhere.

Well, I don't know if this is relevant information for Australia - but here in Copenhagen in a temporary toy store (a Lego discaount store available for 3 months only) in their big boxes with pick-a-brick, there were loads of brown shovels - (...) Having worked on aircraft for 8 years I can tell you that is a little bit of a no-no (only a little bit, as fencing wire 'was' considered ok on early planes, ie (...) (21 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.loc.au)
