Maybe they want to familiarize customers with a high price, so they can mark it
down to normal price and claim 'half price'. Similar to the Armada Flagship for
$99 when it first came out at Kmart, then they made it front page catalog
material when selling it for $49.50. School holidays and a new TRU catalog sale
is due soon is it not ?
Also, the third plane is due out soon, 10124 - Wright Flyer, for $129 from S@H.
