    Any trainheads here? —Jonathan Wilson
If you have been folowing the thread on .trains, you will know that there is an effort underfoot to get together a train with cars from all different lego clubs around the world, with yellow engines at the front with the lego logo and a caboose with (...)         Re: Any trainheads here? —Todd Lehman
(...) This is a great idea! (Except Suzanne points out that LUGNET should be on the engine rather than the caboose :-) I'll talk with Suzanne some more about this and we'll see what we can come up with. We did some experiments with printing clear (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.trains)

Re: Any trainheads here? —Daniel Siskind
The question is do the cars get built to the new standard or are we going to be held back the narrow guage 6-wide types? Dan (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.trains)

Re: Any trainheads here? —Daniel Siskind
(...) Haha! The biggest criticism I've heard from the 'plywooders' is WE can't change our layouts! I guess GMLTC will have to send in a few tanks and a crack demo team to make sure the clearances are there! Wait 'til the new 100 ton hopper cars are (...)       [sorry, a pet peeve of mine: a thread gets so split and groups chat in parallel resulting in confusion. I'm tying it all back together.] Everything here subject to PNLTC member approval (I'm making this up as I go along). As follows: 1. PNLTC would (...)       Uh, I was just thinking.... we are going to be showing the GMLTC layout in Carlsbad in July at the Kidvention, which would be possibly be an even more appropriate place for clubs to show off their stock and logos, since it *is* a club convention.           Re: World class train (wasAny trainheads, ... —John Neal
At the risk of bad form replying to my own post, I just though of another idea. Maybe it would be better if clubs sent me their logos and the GMLTC could make decals and put them on our stock. This would save on a bunch of shipping costs all around. (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

Hello Feedback on Wagons from German groups, yes you would save money by doing that, making stickers, but i see the problem or originality foing ll to hell with it, a set size is no problem (6x28 as most of the world still uses), but we are still (...)       (...) I could not see a problem with Brickshelf having a car, along the lines of LUGNET, it is a important part of the AFOL community. James P (member, PNLTC) (24 years ago, 4-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.trains)

Re: Any trainheads here? —Simon Denscombe
(...) Talking about stickers, have you thought about a sticker for the advertising bricks on the football 3409 set (3308 and 3309 also). It has to look uniform.         Re: Any trainheads here? —Tom Stangl
Yeah, this is why I asked Todd for some more stickers, with some 1.5x/2x/3x the size of the ones he sent - I need some for a racing team, so I need some for the cars, signs, and semis/trailers. And more 1x for all the figs (a decent sized racing (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.trains)
