It was truly an impressive place. When you think of how the move now is for businesses to have super-stores rather than chains of little stores everywhere, this took the cake. It was wall to wall lego, not just boxes of stock mind you. There was (...) (24 years ago, 9-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Lego used to have their office and a major display/store at Drummoyne. Right next to the Iron Cove bridge by the bay. However I'm a bit concerned they said it was only a year ago. I remember it closing down when I used to have to beg parents to buy (...) (24 years ago, 9-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

When visiting rellies in Sydney last week, one of them told me that there was a fabulous store in Drummoyne [spelling?] which sold only Lego. They claimed to have visited this store about a year or so ago, where there were huge permanent displays (...) (24 years ago, 9-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
