One of my preschool lego memories (1964) when all I had was white and red bricks, was that many of the red bricks were a "lighter" red, and they never gripped well (and they were new then)...many of my models just fell apart or collapsed--anyone (...) (25 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

The best person to ask, of course, would be Gary Istok, but some things I've noticed as differences: - older bricks are made from Cellulose Acetate (sp?), newer ones are ABS - the injection point for a lego brick used to be on the side (...)
