  Lego at coles

I was in a coles supermarket on the weekend [sunbury] and noticed that they had a small range [10-20 different small sets] of lego [about 40 sets in total] I was wondering if this is in all Coles, or just a select few, and also when they started (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Soccer sets, thumbs up

Now I did already post about this last night, but since it doesn't seem to have shown up anywhere, I'll fire again (and I'll keep <<expletive indicating dogged commitment deleted>> firing until I hit something ;-) (...) Mmmm. Actually, the Port (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

RE: Ruckus over in Lego Direct

(...) Agreed...Strange...They've only got one or two customer service people, x sales reps [who seem to target the larger stores, and only visit smaller stores after prompting from the stores managers] and an unknown number of managers and shipping (...)   RE: Just bought the Football sets

(...) Ahh....I think LA is still a subsection of Lego OS [Overseas?], so then we should look at whoever is in charge of that area for this... Anyway, this argument is doomed, as Lego NA [north america] is seeming to be trying to take over globally (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Just bought the Football sets

(...) But if each Lego subsidiary is treated separatedly, why should one subsidise the other. Next thing you will want a player draft for the footie ;^) At least Brad gave us a mention, I wasn't expecting one. pete.w <aquanaut@optusnet.com.au> (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

RE: Just bought the Football sets

(...) True, the government does tax highly...but if LA can get the soccer sets [that we weren't going to be getting] into the country, and can sell them at this price when they were originally going to be $115 or so, it begins to look like it's not (...)   Re: Ruckus over in Lego Direct

(...) Yep, I'd say let it go for a while. The American's are still wiping the drool from their faces over this, so I doubt we'd be high on their priority list until they've drained the current world stocks of ABS. Given the speed of which LD has (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Just bought the Football sets

(...) respite. (...) Did you get these at Parramatta ? I was there on Monday and couldn't find anything :^( I think it's time to stick it to the real problem. Our government/s State and Federal that tax everything that moves. Brad mentioned in his (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Just bought the Football sets

These FOOTBALL sets are great! I bought one of just about each set, and I spent two hours playing around with how i could make the seating tiered and mutli-level. And the prices on them are fantastic too! So the potential for making a stadium are (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: To all residents of perth

(...) Just a dinosaur ! It would be easy to miss it, the image on the box is bigger. pete.w <aquanaut@optusnet.com.au> (25 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
