  TGBSLILA Entry - MP-1978 'Woomera'

(Posting this on behalf of Matthew Payne, and excerpted straight from his email) ... So I would like to include some links to my MOC, MP-1978 a.k.a 'The Woomera' (because of its resemblance in function and form to that object) which is obviously an (...)   Re: TGBSLILA Competition! - 2 days to go! keep them coming!

(...) Mel is correct - I am pretty busy - and as well as that I'm at a pretty dodgy web connection. So I won't be updating the TGBSLILA page until next Tuesday (15/6), but I'll be allowing plenty of time to do so. Remember the cutoff is midnight (...)   Re: The Inescapable (an entry for the GBSLILAC)

Well, can say all this in a few words, nice ship. It looks very Star Wars universe in its style somehow. Never mind the Ewok bounty hunter. It almost seems to remind me of something from the comics. I like the use of the boats, I did not even (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.space, FTX)

Humble addition to Port Block inspired by TGBSLILA

I am a bit awed by the microfig Melbourne thingie, but since I have been moved to add something to Port Block for the first time in I guess 3 years, and since it will likely add a post or two in the best traditions of the competition, I offer it (...)   Re: Second entry for TGBSLILA, a work in progress

(...) Truly amazing, Aaron. I echo Martin's sentiments in hoping you can bring it to the MUGS meeting on Monday. Gets my vote for TGBSLILA - oh wait, I'm not a judge LOL ROSCO (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) Looks really great, is it comming to the QBD meeting on Monday so we can have a first hand look? (...) I would have thought federation square just required you to spill a pile of bricks out on the table :-P Martin (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Second entry for TGBSLILA, a work in progress

(...) Excellent work Aaron ! Unmistakable streetscape even to the occasional visitor. The 2 types of trams and 2 types of buses and the train station would be my favourite parts of your display. Something like this would go down well in a show open (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Second entry for TGBSLILA, a work in progress

(...) Brilliant. I would never have thought that such an accurate rendition would be possible at microfig scale (I have enough trouble at minifig scale!). Nice work dude. Loved the cab, and the dome work is excellent too. And the roads. And the (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)
