I will try to keep it updated as much as I can, but I make no promises that
what I list will be there when YOU go. All I can tell you is this is what
they had when I checked. For those of you with a fast connection you can
check the entire list on one page. And for those of you with a slower
connection I put a table up with links to pages with one color on each page.
If you are interested to see what they have you can check it out on my site:

This took me muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch longer than I thought it would. Silly
me thought I could whip it out in a few hours.... geesh - what was I thinking??

I really hope people can get some use out of this list!!

And I will duplicate Brad's request.. please do not ask me to pick stuff up
for you. I do not have the time. I may take requests at a later date, but I
am just too busy right now. Sorry :(

Mark, first let me say a big huge [THANKS]! You seriously [-ROCK-]!

i did some calculations.

using this conversion table:
http://www.engnetglobal.com/tips/convert.asp?catid=3

and this weight table:
http://news.lugnet.com/market/shipping/?n=542

I found this:
Brick 1x4 = 1.56g = .004 lb

this would mean that a .25 lb bag would have something like ~63 pieces for 6.99,
as compared to S@H 50 pieces for 5.99.

$7/65p = $.108 per piece
$6/50p = $.12 per piece

which means the pick-a-brick prices are better than S@H, but doesn't include the
trouble of finding someone to go there and get them.

for the 1x1 brick, it follows:
.435g = .0012 lb
208 pieces @ $7 = $.033 price per piece

Any takers? BTW, what's the sales tax at LEGOLAND (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.legoland.california)

(...) First of all, a 'thank you' to Mark at Land of Bricks for the wonderful Pick-A-Brick information! Considering our upcoming trip to Legoland, husband and I were curious to see if Pick-A-Brick was a good value. I took the above suggestion one (...) I have found similar weight results. I recently got a bulk order which included packs of 2X4 bricks (in a bag of 50). I took a bag to the post office and weighed it. The bag was 3.50 ounces (just shy of a 4-ounce/quarter pound), which makes the (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jun-03, to lugnet.legoland.california, FTX)
