I took pictures. I uploaded some of them at BrickShelf:

Most of these pictures were taken from the Miniland, as that was the
place I spent most of the day.

When I was there busy taking pictures, suddenly I had a strange feeling:
These are the ghosts of Timmy. After he has been killed in so many ways
on the Internet, now his ghosts are coming back haunting us at the
Miniland.

I wish I could fly to Carlsbad...

But thanks for taking some pictures of the park and all the festivities.  That
poor skeleton committing suicide off that building...  He had so much to live
for.  By the way, has anyone figured out why Lego would build to this scale?
I mean if they built the miniland area to minifigure scale then wouldn't they
sell more sets?  And I don't really think their style is that popular with
Lugneters since I don't think I have ever seen anything with those types of
people in them.  So what's Lego doing?  Now I must go and make sure all of my
skeletons are living happy lives...

(...) There were actually lots more festivities going on. My pictures are heavily biased toward what's happening in the Miniland. (...) Nahhh. How much deader can a skeleton be?
