If you change the shopping cart country to Australia, it is available for
purchase here. I do not know why it is not available in the US - perhaps
there was some problem with saftey regulations regarding the spinning disc
inclued as part of the toy?

It lists the items separately here, I can find them here all under Hordika.
I can also purchase them separately.

I'm not sure what the US website for S@H is doing, maybe you should use
their "contact us" form and send them a query? I know it has worked for me,
although you need to phrase your enquiry within a certain number of lines,
as the text box they have apparently takes only so many characters.

I snipped the rest of your post because I don't get into the Bionicle line
itself. There's not really a lot of useful parts in it to build large-scale
studless constructions.
I hope the comments above can help you resolve your issues with the S@H
website.

| (...) Unlikely. All the Bionicle toys use them, and the shield is exactly the same (possibly even the same part in a different color) as the other Toa. Also, that doesn't explain why the combo pack is availabvle. (...) I'll try that, thanks. (19 years ago, 16-Oct-05, to lugnet.lego.direct)

| I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to bring this up. I purchased Toa Iruini ( (URL) ) last month, and not too long after saw Toa Norik ( (URL) ), but it doesn't seem to be available in the USA (or anywhere?) but is mentioned on the (...)
