I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to bring this up.
I purchased Toa Iruini ( http://shop.lego.com/product.asp?p=8762 ) last
month, and
not too long after saw Toa Norik
( http://shop.lego.com/product.asp?p=8763 ), but it doesn't seem to be
available in the USA (or anywhere?) but is mentioned on the Bionicle
website.
The S@H theme section for Bionicle does not list this product, but is
advertising the combo pack of Toa Norik and Toa Iruini
( http://shop.lego.com/product.asp?p=65757 ) as a featured
product, and is also saying this product is available in the USA. Will Toa
Norik be available seperately? I really do not want to have to buy Toa
Iruini again.
Also, related to this, the Bionicle page doesn't have a section for these
special edition Toa at all. No where does it list the Toa Iruini, Toa Norik,
or Combo Pack /together/. Toa Iruini is put in the Hordika section, and the
Combo Pack is put in the Visorak section. Since we're getting close to the
Christmas season, making products in-acessable to users isn't too smart. ;)
Not all potential buyers will be going through the Bionicle website (which
links directly to the individual products in S@H).
I'd also like to thank Lego for making the Bionicle line. I know you guys
have gotten lots of flack for this line (how it is for younger kids and
such), but I do like the actual look of some things. It is a blend of
futuristic robotics with a minimalistic edge of the inner frame showing and
stereotypical fantasy elements: Toa Iruini and Toa Norik look like Zulu
Warriors of a sort, with the specific shape of the shields, and the spears;
and Toa Lhikan and Kikanalo look like beast riders of yore.
Also, I'd like to see more of the Iruini/Norik line. I haven't been
purchasing more than one of the Rahkshi, Hordika, Vahki, and other various
groups because they are ultimately all the same product but with different
colors and weapon styling. With Iruini and Norik, they look different
enough to be worth buying.
In addition to everything I just said, what are the Kanoka Points for? I
mean, we enter the codes off the little spinners, but they don't seem to be
for anything useful. I can't buy additional Lego products with them
(though, I'd like to). I have over 1250 of them, and I can't find anything
to do with them. In short, lack of advertising what these points are for
are an issue.
Thanks for everything Lego!
