Let's do an experiment. Why don't you scan and publish the information you
lifted from TLG's website, and provide us publicly with the URL where it can be
viewed? I'd certainly welcome it (and be the first visitor), but you'd be
absolutely amazed at how fast you will get a request from TLG (headquartered in
Denmark, by the way!) to remove the information and, failing that, how surely
your ISP will shut you down in response to a similar request from TLG directed at
them with the attendant threats of legal action. The mechanics are different,
but the desire of TLG to protect proprietary information is the same--and there
is legal recourse in civil court, even in the idyllic paradise of freedom that is
Mitteleuropa.
You're right that they can't kill the information or leach it out of people who,
like you and I, have seen it, but they're certainly allowed to stanch the leak
and hinder further distribution by any legal means at their disposal. Whether
it's in the US or in Europe makes no difference whatsoever, and that's the part
of your original assertion I'm taking issue with here. European companies sue,
and the citizens of European countries can be sued, too.

A troll is a post deliberately designed to elicit heated responses.
