Contrary to popular belief, Canada is part of North America not the US...
yet. ;-)

Your point is well taken.
But then, why did you set the followups to the California newsgroup?
I'll never understand Canadians.

I agree 100% with Jude! (and since I have my bachelors in geography...) but
anyway, everybody should know that! :-P
Shaun, I think you missed something because .loc.ca is for Canada and
.loc.us.ca is for California...
;-)
Pierre (who hopes to understand Americans one day...) :-))))

tres bien, Pierre!!! (....very good, Pierre)
[which means that I find his anecdote funny, and I am happy the way he
put his correction in...sharp and too the point but in a way not to hurt
other's feelings!!!]
....and if I remembered my french vocabulary from Highschool, especially from
grade 12 (OAC), I might be able to write more....
Ben... who also has lost some stuff from high school as a result of College!!!
;)

Hmmm, apparently the tongue planted firmly in cheek doesn't translate well to
plain text ... ahh well, so it goes :P

<Blushing>
So once in high school geography, someone mentioned that North America
included Canada. After college... well, lots of stuff was lost...
Thanks for the reminder.

There are, of course, 4 countries in NA. Figure that one out!
(with 3 "national" languages: Spanish, English & French)
Mind you, I don't believe that Lego NA ships to the 4th country, it probably
is handled through Lego EU

Joke #1:
USA
Canada
Mexico
Quebec?
Joke #2:
USA
Canada
Mexico
Texas??
Serious response:
USA
Canada
Mexico
France (Magdalen Islands)
Jeff J
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Where are the Magdalen Islands? The only French islands in NA i can
think of are St-Pierre et Miquelon, just south of Newfoundland.
And what about Greenland? That's Danish territory, but it's closer to
Canada than to Denmark.
Of course, if you want to be technical, there are many different
countries in NA. I believe that each embassy is on its own country's
territory (ie. the US embassy in Ottawa is on US territory, the Iranian
embassy is on Iranian territory, and so on)
