Re: How to properly call "the Birck" was Re: Can some do this or tell me of who is this?

Try explaining the proper usage of the LEGO trademark to my 21 month old daughter. My daughter stands next to my train table, points up and chants "daydohs? daydohs?" over and over. (...) Since LEGO is a brand name, the proper way to describe the brick would be to call them "a LEGO brick" or "many LEGO bricks" Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (22 years ago, 18-Jul-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Absurd price differences at LEGO Direct

It may be cheap to own a house in SOME places in the US, but others are insane. In my area, unless I'm willing to deal with stray bullets occasionally, the cheapest I will find a 2BR house that doesn't need a TON of work is over $400K, and nearing (...)   Re: Absurd price differences at LEGO Direct

(...) The issue might have to do with taxes. There are no VAT or in most cases sales taxes (for mail order purchases) in the US. I also think corporate income tax is lower. In spite of all the complaining some people do in the US, we have the lowest (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jul-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)
