Interesting. I bought about 60 silver buckets/tubs and one of them gave me a
light-grey 2x4 instead of a chrome one. It appeared in every way identicle to
my other bricks. This was some years (and two house moves) ago so I'd have to
do a lot of work to try to find it (if possible at all), but my memory suggests
that it wouldn't even be possible. Are you saying those were different too?
If mine wasn't different, does that mean that I just got the wrong color rather
than a brick that failed to get chromed (which is what I'd assumed)?
