Re: And the July Surprise is... —David Eaton
(...) This actually came up in discussion not too long ago in .castle-- as for parts not seen in the past 3 years: -Saddle w/ single clip (1992?) [easily replaced w/ 2-clip version] -Minifig Head w/ solid stud (?) [easily replaced w/ hollow version] (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: And the July Surprise is... —Kevin Knoot
(...) The $25 price for a 246 piece set in and of itself is *amazing* when you consider that King Leo's Castle has 524 pieces for $90, the Royal Joust has 99 for $20, and Bull's Attack has 307 for $50. Then to factor in how brilliant this set is, (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: And the July Surprise is... —Tom Stangl
I have a bunch of the 2585s ((URL) - (URL) I'll be parting out (I mainly want the brickster torso, and some of the small train wheels)... Who would be interested in the train "superman", with both heads (regular and with red mask over the eyes) and (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: And the July Surprise is... —Richard Marchetti
(...) I might be interested! But let me get this straight -- you WANT to keep what is essentially a TIMMY figure?! Is there any chance you would scan the "Bricksters" torso for me? O wait, that might be illegal...forget it... -- Hop-Frog (as close (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: And the July Surprise is... —Tom Stangl
Who cares about the head, the Timmy figure has a KILLER torso! I've never seen that torso ANYWHERE else, and when I displayed at NMRA last year, that's the only piece that was stolen, that minifig :-/ (URL) mean, look at it, it has a brick exploding (...)           Re: And the July Surprise is... —Bryan Wong
(...) Wow, whoever stole it knows their stuff. Rather than grab a generic Timmy, s/he grabbed the special one! (...) After looking at the torso, you're right, it looks pretty cool!       Tom , I could use a few of those figures - maybe 10. They would come in handy for various things I've got in mind. Paul Sinasohn LUGNET #115 (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

         Re: Lego Superheroes —Clark Stephens
Tom, I would be interested in one (1) of those figures (actually I just need the red mask head, but will buy the whole fig if necessary). Put me on your list when you decide a price. Thanks, Clark (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: And the July Surprise is... —David Eaton
(...) Ok, I noticed this on peeron when I was looking through 6067's inventory, but I checked the instructions for the Lego Loco set (2585) on brickshelf and I didn't see it there-- I had figured it was a mis-entry on peeron...
