  Re: Parts, Parts, Parts

(...) Hi Jordan, After an attic sort out we've been rebuilding all our lego to sell on ebay or similar (my daughter discovered her grown up brother's collection and has pursuaded him to sell to buy Playmobil). We have quite a lot, including a (...) (17 years ago, 18-May-07, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Parts, Parts, Parts

(...) I think the catch was that while AFOLs were quick to jump at the chance to own one of these sets, they were NOT so quick to buy *more* of these sets. It seems as though a lot of AFOLs who owned the original set were passing up the opportunity (...) (17 years ago, 30-Apr-07, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Parts, Parts, Parts

(...) Hi Damon, I enjoyed reading your post and share many of the same sentiments. I recall LEGO saying somewhere that generally speaking, sets re-released as Legends do not sell very well. This seems odd to me, since I would jump at the chance to (...) (17 years ago, 30-Apr-07, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Parts, Parts, Parts

Dear Lego Direct; With the introduction of the Lego Factory/Pick a Brick site you have given to us a huge resourse. Thank you. There are some items that I, personally, would love to see reintoroduced to the Pick a Brick assortment. I understand that (...) (17 years ago, 29-Apr-07, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: 10183 instructions in PDF please?

(...) I'm caught with a older operating system, too. I just realized that I won't be able to run LDD and see any of the instructions. This won't prevent me from buying the hobby train set, but it will prevent me from buying any other set with LDD (...) (17 years ago, 28-Mar-07, to lugnet.lego.direct, FTX)

Re: 10183 instructions in PDF please?

(...) While LDD 2 does have a HTML export, it has a couple of drawbacks: It produces fairly low-res images The images are all from the same viewpoint (wherever you're viewing from in LDD when you export I think) The images are clipped if the (...)   Re: 10183 instructions in PDF please?

I have reported this situation to a contact within LEGO CAnada, and hopefully they can work it up the chain/get someone to quickly create PDFs, surely LDD 2.0 can be used to just generate a printable version of the instructions. Heck I'd do it (...) (17 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.lego.direct, FTX)

Re: 10183 instructions in PDF please?

(...) I completely agree with the above statement. I can NOT run LDD on my computer due to its operating system. This problem has kept me from buying sets before and will likely again unless an alternate format for instructions is implemented for at (...) (17 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.lego.direct, FTX)

  10183 instructions in PDF please?

As I have (URL) on my blog>, I have been unable to get LDD2 running on my PC, and (URL) I'm not alone>. This means when I buy this set, I will not be able to view instructions for the 29 alternate models. I request that TLC please provide these (...)
