Re: Shop At Home catalog Engine Shed

(...) Sounds Good--excellent suggestion. My favorite minfig torso has always been the blue-collar worker guy with 2 breast pockets --> (URL) this minifig in Green, Red, Black, Dark Gray, etc. would result in me buying many, many minifig packs. (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Delivery criticism!

I'm sorry I have to mention this thing here, but after several bad and unsuccessfull deliveries I have enough! As most of you might know I'm a fan of Lego and it's products. I also like what's available from the Lego Online Shop. There are many (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

There must be a better way to deal with lost orders...

Well, I have to grumble... I don't do it often, and frankly, I'm of the opinion that Lego Direct has been doing an excellent job overall. I haven't spent so much on Lego in all the years (32) I've been playing/collecting it as I have since (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Shop At Home catalog Engine Shed

(...) Bert, this is generally true of _ALL_ items listed in the Shop@Home Catalogs. The January catalog is historically brief and a lot of items are not pictured but they are still available. In the way of a shopping tip: When planning your next S@H (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: announcing the "My Own Creation" series

(...) Pedro, This is just a guess based on my own experience dealing with distributors.... I think the reason the price is so great (only $40.00) is because these won't be available in the stores! Retail chains and and distribution add *huge* (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jan-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Shop At Home catalog Engine Shed

I Agree. I would really like to see Conductor Charlie and Engineer Max minifigs. And how about some passenger minifigs with back packs and lugguage, and please don't forget some female minifigs - very important. While I'm at it, how about a historic (...)   Re: Shop At Home catalog Engine Shed

(...) Sorry, Ffestiniog and Tal-y-lyn railways. (I just didn't want to have to look up the proper welsh spellings...I guess I was expecting too much by using the common initials, like if I had used ATSF or BN or SP or suchlike :) (...) So would I.   Re: Shop At Home catalog Engine Shed

More thoughts on a train mini-figure pack - - I could see the track workers set being comprised of an engineer, a ticket checker and four construction worker types. - For more play value, include a hand car or other mini-maintenance vehicle that can (...)   Re: Shop At Home catalog Engine Shed

(...) Sorry, what's "FR or TR"??? If *I* don't know what it is, it may not have much draw to US train fans as none of them will know either. May do well with the subset of UK train fans who know Wales, though. (...) Those are hard, minifig pack is (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.trains)

Re: Shop At Home catalog Engine Shed

(...) What would be really neat would be a working party like some from FR or TR in Wales in the 50's. School Jackets and all... I'd like to see some older looking (historic) minifig sets. The stuff that was faked up for the April Fools joke would (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.trains)
