The only thing to be careful about is to make sure the 2.0 software will talk to the RS232 connection. They may have the drivers wired into the USB only. Anyone have a 2.0 set they have tested the RS232 on? (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.lego.direct)

Would it be possible to get an official, definiative release date/period/quarter for Midstorms RIS2.0?
