Hi! I wonder why so far nobody has mentioned the new LEGO Technic product that is shown in one of the large pictures of the photo gallery. Looks like we will get more Cyberslam-like stuff later this year. I copied the relevant images into the (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.technic, lugnet.year.2001)

Just keep a good watch on ebay, especially ebay.de. I managed to pick up a Metroliner, Club Car, 4539, extra circle of track, 10 extra straight track sections, and 2 track switches. If you say "LDraw" I swear I am gonna give Tim Courtney 100 lashes with a wet noodle next time I see him. www.ldraw.org puts WAY too much emphasis on ldraw itself which is arcane, hard to use, and well, antiquated. (...) But, from TLC's perspective, they need to *market* their product. A bunch of bulk bricks is low on the excitement scale for the GP. In fact, it looks like work!
