Re: LEGO Company Welcomes Adult LEGO Enthusiasts

(...) Where precisely did you see this? I tried to scan around through various links from the main links that began this thread, but did not find anything along the lines of the above comment. Plus, what can I say, a lot of the content at those (...) (24 years ago, 6-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Let me be the first to say HOLY (expletive deleted for your protection) The ability to buy any piece in any quantity in perhaps any color is truly mindbendingly awesome. 2002 won't get here soon enough. Wow. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (24 years ago, 6-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Are 9V trains alive?

(...) I hope youre right. I would like to see more kind of points, and a return to the first 9v train models (and some 12V models where great too !). I hate those new models (4560/4561 & 4559). I bought some for the pieces but i don't build them. (...) (24 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.trains)

Re: My ideas - Space, Castle, etc.

(...) Being a vegetarian, I would not want TLC associated with leather jacket making. I feel guilty enough about really liking the McDonald's sets, the Shell Oil promotional sets, and for that matter...the ABS itself :) How about a hemp jacket? ;) (...) Mark Sandlin wrote in message ... (...) Space (...) Nice idea, but.... I'd rather have a LEGO patch to put on my existing jacket. I have an emotional investment in the leather jacket I already have! Kevin (24 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: My ideas - Space, Castle, etc.

(...) Yes, yes, YES, YES, YES!!!!! Oh man, I would LOVE to see a nice black leather jacket with a Classic Space logo on the back! Please make it a nice, trendy straight-cut style. No elastic waist, please! MmmMMmMMmmm... leather jacket. ~Mark (...) (24 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

My ideas - Space, Castle, etc.

Wow! This is a long thread! Guess that means there's some interest, huh? Pardon me if some of this stuff has been suggested already. I'd like to see the following: Classic Space t-shirts exactly like the ones Mark made. They were super cool! Two (...) (24 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Mystery of the 4 droid bodies? (was Re: It's here!)

(...) Perhaps this is a good place for LEGO Direct to step in and clear up a mystery with some rather harmless inside info? I can't see why these were included being a trade secret. eric (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

(...) That's probably a good idea. That way it allows for some group discussion (some good, some bad) about what's going on with the design ideas. (...) Wow, I don't think I've seen those shirt pages before. But yeah, that's exactly the idea I had (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: How long before the Mosaic is back?

(...) I was able to get Mosaic to work through a proxy server, but it took literally 5-10 minutes between each step. I decided it wasn't worth the wait. :( James (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Deja Vu 2002

Dear Lego... Any chance of taking advantage of the year 2002, "Ice Planet 2002" rereleased? Or even just making available Ice Planet parts in some (sub)theme?   Re: How long before the Mosaic is back?

(...) OK - The problem is/was the firewall/proxy server. I connected my computer "directly" to the Internet and after several tries, I was finally able to use Mosaic.   Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

(...) Yes! A MindStorms shirt would be cool as well, even if it just had the programmable brick amidst the "MINDSTORMS" storm background that is used on the RIS box. -Peter (24 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)
