First of all, I would like to thank Suzanne and Todd for inviting us to take
part in the community of LEGO users here. We are happy to be a part of the
community and hope to be able to provide educators using the LEGO Dacta
products in their classroom a place to communicate with each other about how
they are using the products and also answer questions for the community in
general.
We would like to explain a little bit about who we are and what we do.
Formed as joint venture in 1998, Pitsco LEGO Dacta is owned by both LEGO
Dacta and Pitsco (a leading supplier of materials in the technology
education marketplace for the past 30 years). As the exclusive distributor
of LEGO Dacta products in the United States, Pitsco LEGO Dacta offers
products such as LEGO Mindstorms for Schools (RoboLab), eLAB (LEGO energy),
LEGO Dacta Simple Machines sets, and hundreds of other Pitsco and LEGO Dacta
products that engage and excite learners. The LEGO Dacta products
incorporate curriculum and activities that allow teachers to easily
integrate the materials into any classroom. Our primary focus is on schools

We would like to specifically state that we are the exclusive distributors
in the United States only. We cannot answer questions about other

why LEGO does specific things in the retail marketplace. We will only
