Re: Behind the curtains - LEGO Factory AFOL Project Team

(...) I've met Ross, he's a great kid. The standing joke in the GMLTC is every time we see his Dad displaying some of of Ross's work we ask "Does his mother build with Lego?", feigning that there's no way he could have gotten than talent from his (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Universal Color List...finally

(...) These names don't match the names on the above web site. I'm guessing the names are actually the Bricklink names. Is this right? Here are the entries from (URL) that I think are correct: | Bricklink | Peeron | LDraw | Lego Name | | Name & Num (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Universal Color List...finally

I really don't think the drop in sales had anything to do with the color change, and if you do, you're not being honest with yourself. LEGO didn't publicize the color change, either positively or negatively, to the consumer-at-large (AFOLs don't (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego, FTX)

(...) Wow what a load! It hurt my head trying to figure out what you typed Terry. I had to read it twice to figure it out, once to get past the poor grammar and spelling, then again to try and put together what you were actually saying...after all (...) I very rarely post to these threads as they are not directly building related, but.... Not really going to spend time refuting Terry's opinion. (...) snip (...) I know that you don't want to hear that it wasn't Jake's fault... but that wasn't Jake's fault.   Re: Universal Color List...finally

Hello! (...) Well, I can only speak for myself. The year is eleven months old and I can count on two hands how many new sets I have bought. No multiple copies of one and the same set, either. What I bought, however, are old-grey and old-brown parts (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Universal Color List...finally

(...) Yea! More new colours! More shades of pinkish violet-green, 'cause the kids love them! This list, however universal it is deemed now, still has some drawbacks. The main problem I see is with these ugly new greys, which are on the list, and (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego)
