Great news, Jake!
I think this shows a fundamental shift in the LEGO companys attitude toward
AFOLs. Prior to this, I think we were perceived as a bunch of mostly harmless
weirdos with a lot of time on our hands. But now, it looks like LEGO is
starting to get that we can serve as role models and mentors to their primary
audience: kids. In other words, there neednt be a conflict between the needs
of AFOLs and KFOLs; supporting AFOLs by letting us act as mentors to KFOLs
helps the primary business of selling to kids.
Jake, Im curious if youve been using language like this (mentor) when
dealing with management?
