I have to patently agree. I have often thought that S@H should open a web
site and simply post most of the information (availability, specials, etc.)
and allow ordering via the web. The only thing that has ever stopped me from
being more vocal about it is the fact that I realize they might have to let go
of some of those very nice people because of the loss of phone orders. Who
says their isn't a price to progress.
As far as S@H not knowing what other parts of Lego is doing, I think you've
defined the excellent communication qualities of just about every major
corporation in the world. I routinely find out about my own company's new
projects not through internal memos, but from the investor information
bulletin I receive from from my brokerage.
