Considering how few basic bricks are in the current sets, it probably bade good business sense to shut it down. I wonder if they will discontinue bulk buckets and tubs? KL

There is currently another thread about shipping containers being lost overboard while travelling across the Atlantic, (URL) inventory only showed special elements, which may confirm your (...) Hope it hasn't been mentioned earlier. When I heard about the Enfield closing, I sent a letter to LEGO in Denmark, asking why the sets were simplified and if the sets would still be packaged in Enfield. I got the following back on an (...) (24 years ago, 21-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)
