Lego often refers to ordinary green brick as Dark Green, maybe to distinguish it from the lighter green foliage and the Lime color. The January 2004 S@H catalog bricks by type-color page shows the confusion about green/dark green.

Good point. The picture did seem to look like it was a darker green than the normal green though... more like the bionicle dark green. Which would be really cool.

But I voted for the Dark blue instead...
