  LEGO Stores

Does anyone know if the LEGO stores are "company" stores or franchises? I assume they are "company" stores (owned and operated by TLG) but was curious. Ted (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Want to be famous?

(...) Bit of IT trouble. For now, just send it to me and reference that the mail should be forwarded to Melinda. (Melinda is an American who just relocated to Australia, and has apparently had a kink in her email switchover - but the fact that she's (...)   Re: Want to be famous?

(...) I emailed "melinda.carter@amer....lego.com" yesterday and it went through fine. She replied back to me from "aumecart@asia.lego.com" - perhaps this is a better place to email her? -Lenny (21 years ago, 7-Jun-05, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.mediawatch)

  Re: Want to be famous?

(...) Ya know I was wondering why someone from Australia had "america" in their email address? Maybe it's Melinda.Carter@austr...a.lego.com ? Just wondering.... Gary Istok (21 years ago, 7-Jun-05, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.mediawatch)

  Want to be famous?

One of my colleagues just asked me to pass this along: Melinda Carter, interim marketing manager for LEGO Australia, is looking for fantastic high-res images of LEGO® creations preferably resembling known architectural beauties (including buildings, (...)   Re: Question about mosaics

(...) I spoke to a Legoland CA employee that said there were problems with part availability (primarily 1 x 1 white plates). He said a final decision hadn't been made whether the mosaics would be sold again in the park or not. But I'm expecting some (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jun-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Wanted: list of top selling Lego lines

Does anybody know the top selling lines (not individual sets) for other years 2001 and 2004 for instance? Was Bionicle #1 in 2001? Was there a press release for those other years? Top Selling Lines for LEGO 2002 1 Bionicle 2 LEGO Harry Potter 3 LEGO (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jun-05, to lugnet.lego)

  Question about mosaics

LLCA and lego.com have both stopped selling mosaics. What's going on? Is it just a changeover for the new grays, a redfinitiion of the product, or the end of 48 x 48 mosaic sets? The seemed popular enough at LLCA! -Ted (21 years ago, 27-May-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

  missing Brickmaster set

I recently got my latest Brickmaster magazine & Bionicle comic, but havent gotten the accompanying set. I usually get the set before getting the mag, but it's been almost a week since I've gotten the mag & still no set. At first I thought it was (...)   Re: Introducing the LEGO Affiliate Program

(...) uproar.... (...) were not (...) happen. (...) I think an even greater uproar would result if the bricks are glued together for the project! More to the point, can the Affiliate keep the bricks and/or sell them? I would be surprised if the (...) (21 years ago, 15-May-05, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Introducing the LEGO Affiliate Program

(...) What I think would be very cool is something where anyone (train club, someone building a sculpture etc) can get parts from a certain range of parts in bulk if they place a minumum order of <n bricks> where n depends on the part being ordered. (21 years ago, 15-May-05, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Introducing the LEGO Affiliate Program

(...) Here's something that would really set the AFOL community into an uproar.... what if the affiliates were able to get bricks (or parts) in bulk that were not available to the general AFOL community. Although I doubt this would happen. (Akin to (...) (21 years ago, 15-May-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: Introducing the LEGO Affiliate Program

(...) Ok, people are spending way too much time worrying about the name. You know we're just gonna end up using some abbreviation like "LAffi" in true online lego community style. Now what I want to know is what's all this about bricks in bulk? What (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: Introducing the LEGO Affiliate Program

(...) I'm surprised Eric Harshbarger's name is not on that list. He's done some magnificent work with his Lego furniture, mosaic's and sculptures. He's created a whole new genre of Lego ideas. He did make it out of last summer's hurricane season, (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: Introducing the LEGO Affiliate Program

(...) Is there any age limit? Not that I could apply right now, being busy with work, school, etc, but can someone under the age of 18 apply? Thanks, Nathan Wells (who won't techically be an Adult Fan Of LEGO for a year and a half) (21 years ago, 14-May-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: Introducing the LEGO Affiliate Program

(...) I totally disagree. The term Affiliate to my mind suggests something that's open to anyone, the prototypical example being Amazon.com' affiliate program. When I saw the subject of Jake's email, I thought they were introducing some kind of deal (...) (21 years ago, 13-May-05, to lugnet.lego, FTX)
