LLCA and lego.com have both stopped selling mosaics. Whats going on? Is it
just a changeover for the new grays, a redfinitiion of the product, or the
end of 48 x 48 mosaic sets? The seemed popular enough at LLCA!

I spoke to a Legoland CA employee that said there were problems with part
availability (primarily 1 x 1 white plates). He said a final decision hadnt
been made whether the mosaics would be sold again in the park or not.
But Im expecting some bigger news regarding mosaics in the future. LEGOFan.org
has a forum group for the LEGO Inside Tour. There is a public group, and a
private group for tour attendees only. The private group has a message posted by
Jake titled Mosaic Program. All the tour attendees are sworn to secrecy, but it
sounds to me like something new is on the way. Time will tell.
