At first I was puzzled by the strange coloured things on his back until I saw
the Finding Nemo reference (Ill have to get off my backside and see it
before it finishes in the cinemas here) I like the fact that you have
designed it to be made with bits from one set without making it seem
compromised. When I saw the image in your post I thought youd found a good
use for part 30382 but
not alas!
Your instructions are nice too, Im not a fan of the white-ing out (is that
the right term?) of the pieces from the previous steps but it makes it very
clear. I also like the pointers you have made from the sub-assembly boxes to
show where they go.

Tim,
Thanks for the kind words. When it came to shading the steps (which is a
default in LPub), I decided to go ahead and try it. Even this is the first set
of instructions that Ive posted, it is the second that I started working on.
My other set (which I hope to post in the next week or so) is much larger, and I
would like it to be printable. Because of that, I decided to use the shading so
that not as much ink/toner would be used when they were printed. When I moved
from that project to Crush, I used some of the same settings. It took me a bit
to get the callouts and pointers placed where I wanted, but they do add a nice
look to the steps, so it was very much worth it.
